A Guest Blog for BelleBooks On Dandelion Blessings

This week, my novel THE RIVER WITCH released! I wanted to celebrate with all of you!

So in honor of that, I am guest blogging on my publisher’s website in a post called SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS, sharing memories of springtime and my grandmother…

“It didn’t matter whether the temperature barely inched its way into the fifties, each Spring I knew that with enough pressure and perseverance, I could convince my granny that it was time for me to go barefoot in the yard…”

Click the link to read what this time of year makes me think about and if you like, share a cherished memory with me!

Jolina Petersheim - Your post made me miss my grandmothers, Kim, and they both passed away when I was only three years old. Thank you for taking me to such a beautiful place and for cherishing your granny’s memory long after she is gone. What a living memorial her yard must be.

Darcy - Beautiful! My daddy always planted a garden and I remember squatting in the dirt rows, the tender shoots of new plants tickling my feet and ankles…and taking deep, heavenly sniffs from the mint he cradled in his hands. We would eat some of the small green leaves without washing them first, like momma would have wanted. It was our secret. 🙂 Thanks for reminding me.
