In 2015, I was honored to join members of our city council to help found and organize the first Milton Literary Festival in my hometown of Milton, Georgia. I served as Co-director for two wonderful years, helping bring a beautiful literary event to our community. Working with many local authors, our local library, and many generous patrons, I had the joy of watching the event grow, with over 300 in attendance for the second year before I stepped away to write full time.
