Welcome to Tinderbox Writers Retreat May 28 – 31! Book your space now! Pay either:

  • full price $350 for on-site lodging/food/workshops
  • off-site price $150 food/workshops (participants staying off-site must arrive by 10am, respecting writing time and workshops of others)

**A third option is available to share a queen bed and split the full on-site fee. You must both register and pay your joint FULL balance of $350 ($175 each) to take advantage of this deal, otherwise the attending guest will be held responsible for the full amount.

Our first event sold out within days so we recommend you don’t wait!

* Every effort will be made to match your request for a specific bed on a first-come-first-serve basis as registrations are received. You will be notified ASAP of placement.

To book your place:

  1. This first step is ONLY for those who are first-time attendees. Please follow these simple directions to submit a writing sample for consideration. Returning retreat participants are not required to submit manuscript pages or a reading fee. Instructions for writing sample:
    • Send your best work
    • Your manuscript must be:
      1. Ten pages maximum (fiction/nonfiction/memoir)
      2. Standard 12 pt type
      3. Without name or contact info in the works
        Title of manuscript (fiction/non-fiction/memoir)
      4. Submit documents by email in word format (doc or docx) or rich text format (rtf) to kimberly@kimberlybrockbooks.com
    • $25 NON-REFUNDABLE READING FEE:  make reading fee payment below after submitting application
    • RETREAT SELECTION: After our readers select qualified manuscripts, we use blind lotteries to fill the spaces.
  2. Fill in the form below and click Submit.
  3. You will receive an email to alert you that your information has been received within 3 working days. You will receive notice of acceptance ASAP. Please wait to make your full payment or deposit toward the retreat until that time.
