I had to share with those of you who are waiting along with me for the publication of my first novel. Today the review copies arrived in the mail. Well, maybe I slightly accosted the UPS man. Maybe I even waited at the window and watched with great angst as he passed my house and pulled up my neighbor’s drive. Perhaps, I waited for a brief second before hurtling myself out my front door, across my lawn, through an ACTUAL blackberry briar patch, and onto my neighbor’s drive. I’m not saying that I believe I might have frightened the delivery guy with my wild eyes and unhinged laughter and lame excuses for peering into the open door of his truck.

I will say this. He handed me this very heavy box, real quick.

And I am happy.
