Lucky Seven

I love the idea of sneak preview or an excerpt or anything that gives me a first glance at something…I love a mystery, a moment, just a blink, that makes me ponder and question and imagine…

So of course, I loved this opportunity to give you just that!

I’ve been tagged by Jessica Khoury for this seven thing. Goes like this:

1. Go to the seventh of 77th page of the WIP or latest book

So here are my 7 lines from page 77 of The River Witch:

“I’m just making the rest up as I go and that’s all it is at Sunrise Hills. Probably I’ll give them all strokes. People will think I’m a washed up lunatic selling snake oil miracles.”

I saw his teeth flash white in the gloomy evening light. He swatted at a mosquito. “Then you ain’t got nothing to lose with that plan. Best I can tell, people already think that.”
